David Halprin is the Chief instructor Framingham Aikikai is a 6^th dan (6th degree black belt) and was awarded the rank of Shihan (Master Teacher) by Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba and the United States Aikido Federation.  He began training in 1977 at New England Aikikai under Kanai Sensei, 8^th dan .  He is also an Instructor at New England Aikikai where he has been teaching since 1984, and also is a third degree black belt rank in Iaido.

Barbara Britton, 6^th dan, is a certified Shidoin (Instructor) of the United States Aikido Federation, and begain training with Kanai Sensei in 1978. Barbara is also an Instructor at New England Aikikai.
